Power Protect (Electrical & Mechanical) Engineering Ltd. was established in 1997 by our managing director Mr. Danny LAU Kwok Wah. In our 15 years of service, PPEL has developed into a multi disciplinary engineering firm, capable of handling various types of engineering projects.

PPEL concentrates in providing services to the major public power utilities in Hong Kong. We also provide services in electricity power supply, electrical & mechanical construction, installation and inspection, WRI & WR2 projects, modification, as well as project consultation services to Hong Kong’s commercial, residential and industrial sectors.

We specialize in power transformer and switchboard installations; busbar trunking’s, chambers & repair; electrical equipment maintenance; conditional switchgear assessments; instrument & control (I&C) and lifecycle management. PPEL’s scope of services include other power station equipment maintenance; transmission & distribution equipment maintenance & monitoring; public/ street lighting construction, maintenance & cable trench works; meter installation and reading; and safety health, environmental training & auditing.
